Steven Lundberg, JD, LLM.
Steven is an experienced Estate Planning Lawyer. Steven is licensed in both North Carolina and California. Over the last decade, Steven has primarily practiced in the areas of estate planning and tax planning. Steven is also a former Attorney Advisor for the Social Security Administration. Adding greater insight to Social Security Disability, Supplemental Security Income, and Medicaid programs.
Steven grew up in Southern California, but he spent some time in Montana while serving in the United States Air Force. While in Montana, Steven was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base.

His primary mission was safeguarding nuclear ICBM missiles dispersed over a 5,500 square mile area of Montana. Steven met his wife, Miranda, while they were both stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base.
In 2008, Steven obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from Kaplan University, graduating with the Latin honors of summa cum laude. In 2013, Steven obtained his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School, graduating with the Latin honors of cum laude for being in the top ten percent of his class.
In 2021, Steven obtained his Masters of Law (LLM) in Taxation from Loyola Law School, graduating with honors. Steven is also a Certified Tax Coach ™ through the American Institute for Certified Tax Planners. Additionally, he was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2024.
Steven resides in Holly Springs with his wife, Miranda, and their three children.
In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, collecting vinyl records, and spending quality time with his family.
Kim Le, JD.
Attorney Kim Le is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and works with Compass Estate & Tax Planning in the role of Of Counsel. She focuses on helping families understand their estate-planning options clearly and thoughtfully, with particular attention
to bilingual Vietnamese-English clients and multigenerational households.
Kim earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005, and her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2008.

Her prior legal experience includes Social Security Disability matters, FCPA-focused investigations, complex litigation and antitrust e-discovery, and consulting work related to Vietnamese law and cultural context. She is also an experienced Vietnamese legal translator.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time at the beach, giving back to the community, and being with friends and family.
